These days the cost of entertainment is skyrocketing. Movies, sporting events, theater and yes, even theme parks are more expensive than they used to be. But, your trip to the theme park doesn't necessarily have to blow out your entertainment budget. This week, with the help of our listeners, we'll talk about ways you can have a great time at the theme park while saving a buck or two. You'll be surprised at how many ways you can be thrifty while having fun. We'll also talk with Erik Yates who is coordinating the Coasting For Kids coaster marathon. On Saturday, May 20th, Erik and some friends will be riding Cypress Gardens' wooden coaster Triple Hurricane for one hour per thousand dollars that they raise. All of the proceeds will be going to the Make A Wish Foundation. You can find out more about this event and donate to the cause by visiting http://myspace.com/coastingforkids. Join us next week when we podcast from Holiday World and Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, IN. We'll be there to check out 2006's most anticipated roller coaster, The Voyage. After the show, join us in our forums to talk about your opinions. You can also record your thoughts on the CoasterRadio.com Voicemail Line at 206-339-RIDE (206-339-7433).
